- Collection consists of ten Bentayga V8s by Mulliner
- Commissioned to celebrate the Equestrian world in Belgium
- The Belgian Equestrian Collection can be ordered through the official retail partners in Belgium: Antwerp, Brussels and Knokke
Mulliner, Bentley’s customisation department, has completed a ten-car collection of bespoke Bentaygas celebrating the art of show jumping in Belgium. This is the first collaboration of the Belgian retail partners with Mulliner to co-create this elegant vis-à-vis between the Equestrian world and the first-ever go-anywhere luxury SUV offering the ultimate in power, luxury and usability.
The story goes beyond the stables, where the Bentayga V8 with its 550PS and unique Spectre exterior paint scheme, joins the two worlds into one. Many exterior features have been designed to enhance the performance, sportiness of the Bentayga such as the 22’’ ten-spoke wheels in black painted finish, the carbon fibre styling kit including the mirror caps and the sports exhaust.
The interior complements and contrasts elegantly with the exterior in Burnt Oak colour contrasted with Mandarin stitching. The same contrast for the cushions in Burnt Oak displaying the ‘Stephex Masters’ embroidery in Mandarin contrast stitching. While the diamond shaped details of the seats are reflected in the Herringbone Sand Tweed in the door inserts. To contrast nicely, the stitching of the steering wheel and centre console are hand-crafted in the same colour as the gear lever which adds some light and sportiness into the cabin highlighted in full Mandarin. To conclude, the veneer on the passenger side displays proudly its name: the “Belgian Equestrian Collection” with a metal overlay.
Individually customised and created by Mulliner, the Belgian Equestrian Collection highlights the parallels between the Equestrian and Bentley’s world. Ten cars designed together with Mulliner, incorporating sustainable materials like the tweed option, being produced in Scotland, and offers customers an even more unique finish for their vehicle interior. Hereby, ensuring the usage of ethical and environmental-friendly processes as Bentley will continue to use only sustainable sourced materials throughout its current and next generation of cars.
For the launch of this special collection, Balazs Rooz, Regional Director – Europe commented: “The Belgian Equestrian Collection illustrates the creativity, craftsmanship and individual personalisation details that can be designed through Mulliner. Offering the dream car and attention to detail is what Mulliner stands for and we are glad to see it happen in Belgium this time, now the new home of a ten-car collection of bespoke Bentayga.”
“We are delighted to have worked on this Belgian Equestrian Collection featuring the best of both worlds”, adds Eric Cortois, Managing Director Luxury Brands at D’Ieteren Automotive. “We have been inspired by the shared passion between the automotive and the equestrian worlds. Many of our customers are involved in the latter and have a strong passion for the 5* jumping contest. Therefore, we worked in association with Stephex on all details to make this collection truly unique. This collection is an homage to the Equestrian world and the athletes competing in Belgium.”
The limited edition will be present at the Brussels Stephex Masters, one of the most prestigious show jumping competitions in the world, from 24 to 28 August 2022.
The Bentley brand is represented by D’Ieteren Automotive in Belgium with three dedicated showrooms: Bentley Antwerp, Bentley Brussels and Bentley Knokke.
