Evolving from the world’s largest producer of 12-cylinder petrol engines to having no combustion engines within a decade will see Bentley re-invent itself as a world leader in sustainable luxury mobility.
The Beyond 100 strategy announced in 2020 involves switching the entire model range to battery electric vehicles only and is the result of two decades of forward-thinking, innovation and achievement.
Bentley’s electrified future was previewed with the launch of the all-electric EXP 100 GT during the company’s centenary year in 2019. The concept car featured a multitude of sustainable materials, many of which feature in the next generation of models, including the Bacalar, the most exclusive and bespoke Bentley of the modern era.
Bentley has also transformed its headquarters in Crewe into the UK’s first carbon neutral car factory, while consistently growing the business around the world. The company now plans to become the world’s most sustainable luxury car maker, as it moves into a second successful century.
