ALLURE: The new PEUGEOT 308 first catches the eye with its unique, sensual and sharp design.

EXCELLENCE: The new PEUGEOT 308 offers the full spectrum of engine technologies.

EMOTION: After several awards, the new 308 is in the running for another major trophy.

The 31 independent automotive journalists who form the AUTOBEST jury from 31 European countries have selected the new PEUGEOT 308 as one of the six finalists for this renowned award. In mid-December, the jury of this 22nd edition will award the 2023 title of “Best Buy Car of Europe”.

Launched at the end of 2021, the new PEUGEOT 308 has already gained a strong foothold in the top three of European compact car sales (C segment). It has already won numerous awards in various countries, including the German Car of The Year 2022*, the Women’s World Car of The Year 2022, the Red Dot Award 2022 and the Argus Trophy 2022*.

It is an ambitious move upmarket and the new PEUGEOT 308 stands out in an ultra-competitive market, first and foremost through its strong aesthetic personality, both as a saloon and SW estate. With its sensual and sharp design, the new PEUGEOT 308 is firmly rooted in PEUGEOT’s DNA. It is part of a dynamic, upmarket frame of reference, embodied in an elongated front bonnet, which balances and streamlines its proportions.

To meet the high standards of C-segment customers, the new PEUGEOT 308 offers strong arguments in its favour: in particular, its technological development geared towards efficiency ensures a reduction in consumption and limits CO2 emissions. The range of engines is particularly comprehensive, covering the entire spectrum of technologies: petrol, diesel and rechargeable hybrid were available from the launch, and 100% electric propulsion will be available from 2023.

With these frugal and high-performance engines, the new PEUGEOT 308 provides real driving pleasure, further enhanced by a full range of driving aids and by a brand new technological and aesthetic interpretation of the PEUGEOT i-Cockpit, set in a comfortable and warm environment.

*In the compact car category.
