Full mobility ecosystem on display at this year’s Festival of Motoring

25 April 2023: The full mobility journey that WesBank extends to its customers will be on display at this year’s 6th edition of the Festival of Motoring, powered by WesBank. This exciting and interactive three-day event, taking place from 25 – 27 August 2023 at the Kyalami Grand Prix Circuit, promises to be a motoring extravaganza for car enthusiasts and visitors alike.

As the headline partner of this annual event, WesBank is committed to supporting events and experiences that delight and inspire its customers, and the Festival of Motoring promises to tick all those boxes, plus so much more. The country’s acknowledged leader in vehicle and asset finance will be joined by relevant partners and other franchises within the FirstRand group, to showcase their extensive range of products and solutions within the mobility ecosystem.

“The festival is so much more than a branding opportunity for WesBank, it enables us to unlock real value for our customers. It also provides us with the perfect venue and an ideal opportunity to connect directly with consumers, meet prospective vehicle owners and assist them in navigating  the car buying, financing and ownership journey with ease,” says Ghana Msibi, WesBank CEO.

“The event enables us to bridge the gap between us as the financier, and the consumer. Together with other key players within the group, FNB and MotoVantage, we will take visitors at our stands on a journey across the different offerings within both the vehicle and asset finance as well as the retail finance stables. We will unpack the full extent of the vehicle ownership cycle and demonstrate how we partner with our customers using different technologies and touchpoints along the way.”

Festival goers will be able to interact in real-time with the popular FNB app, nav>> Car, to see how seamless and user-friendly it is to use solutions such as Marketplace, FastApp and Virtual Dealer, when buying or selling a car.

If you are in the marketplace for value-added products, the MotoVantage stand at Festival of Motoring, powered by WesBank, will have all the answers. Through its innovative, one-stop solutions that bring service and peace of mind to vehicle ownership, the company offers a full range of vehicle related value-added products from service and maintenance plans, to scratch and dent or tyre and rim cover to meet your needs and your pocket.

“Our involvement in this annual motoring festival enables us to contribute to an event that stimulates interest and

creates excitement within an ecosystem about which we are both passionate and invested.  With a car showroom displaying all the latest vehicles and models to satisfy even the most passionate of petrol heads to exciting new technologies and interactive innovations within the mobility ecosystem, consumers are in for a treat at every turn,” comments Msibi.

While the three-day event provides visitors with a unique opportunity to touch, feel and even drive in some of the most exciting new vehicles coming into the market, it is also an experiential lifestyle show for the whole family that promises pure entertainment and enjoyment from start to finish.

Early bird ticket sales are available until 01 May.  Visit www.howler.co.za to purchase your ticket. General access tickets cost R265 per adult and R70 for children between 4 and 12 years. Children 0-3 attend for free. The ticket price includes a complimentary shuttle service to the festival from Mall of Africa.
