Porsche’s introduction of the two new e-hybrid variants of the Panamera, the 4 E-Hybrid and the 4S E-Hybrid, marks a significant step in the luxury car manufacturer’s E-Performance strategy. These models blend efficiency, dynamism, and luxury in a way that only Porsche can. Here are 20 things you should know about these groundbreaking vehicles:

  1. E-Performance Expansion: Porsche is expanding its Panamera range with these two new plug-in hybrid variants, showcasing a commitment to efficient and dynamic e-hybrid powertrains.
  2. Increased Electric Range: Both models boast an impressive electric range of up to 96 kilometers (WLTP cycle), highlighting Porsche’s focus on enhancing electric mobility.
  3. Powerful Acceleration: The Panamera 4 E-Hybrid combines a new e-hybrid system with a 2.9-litre V6 biturbo petrol engine for a total system output of 346 kW (470 PS), enabling acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.1 seconds.
  4. Enhanced Driving Dynamics: The 4S E-Hybrid focuses on driving dynamics with its 400 kW (544 PS) system output, allowing it to sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.7 seconds.
  5. Optimised Hybrid Performance: With a revamped powertrain and a new high-voltage battery offering 45% more capacity, these models offer better throttle response and improved driving performance.
  6. Fast Charging Capability: The inclusion of a new 11 kW On-Board-AC-charger reduces charging time significantly, taking only about two hours and 39 minutes for a full charge.
  7. Improved Electric Motor: The new electric motor provides more power and integrates efficiently into the vehicle’s design, enhancing both performance and range.
  8. E-Hybrid Driving Modes: Four optimised E-Hybrid-specific driving modes, including E-Power, Hybrid Auto, E-Hold, and E-Charge, cater to different driving preferences and needs.

  11. Porsche Active Ride Suspension: Available for the E-Hybrid models, this innovative active suspension system optimizes traction and cornering, while also offering exceptional comfort.
  12. Fresh Athletic Design: The new Panamera variants feature a fresh design with standard matrix LED headlights, a continuous taillight, and a frameless rear window for a distinctive look.
  13. Enhanced Standard Equipment: The 4 E-Hybrid comes with 19-inch wheels and black brake calipers, while the 4S E-Hybrid features 20-inch wheels, silver Sport tailpipes, and red brake calipers.
  14. Optional High-Resolution Lighting: An innovative HD matrix LED lighting system is available as an option, offering superior visibility and safety.
