Lamborghini Launched The Huracán STJ, A Limited Edition Of Ten Units

Automobili Lamborghini has introduced the Huracán STJ, an extraordinary limited edition of just ten units that marks the final chapter of the V10-powered super sports car from the iconic Sant’Agata Bolognese manufacturer. This exclusive edition celebrates the remarkable legacy of the naturally aspirated V10 engine, a cornerstone in Lamborghini’s storied history and a significant part of the success of the Huracán since its debut in 2014. As the Huracán prepares to make way for a new era with a hybrid powertrain, the STJ edition emerges as a tribute to its impressive lineage.

The Huracán STJ, based on the Huracán STO model, epitomizes the apex of performance within the Huracán family. The acronym STJ stands for Super Trofeo Jota, linking the car to Lamborghini’s one-make racing series initiated in 2009 and the stringent Appendix J in the FIA Regulations which outlines specifications for race cars. The lineage of the ‘Jota’ is rich within Lamborghini’s portfolio, tracing back to legendary models like the Miura SVJ and continuing with the Aventador SVJ.

Engineered for enhanced track performance, the Huracán STJ boasts a dedicated aerodynamic package developed by the experts at Lamborghini Squadra Corse. This package builds on the sophisticated aerodynamics of the STO, incorporating new elements such as the “cofango” – an innovative addition featuring two carbon fiber aerodynamic flicks. Furthermore, the rear wing has been adjusted to increase its angle by 3°, enhancing the aerodynamic load by 10% without compromising the vehicle’s balance.

Under the hood, the STJ matches the STO’s impressive 640 CV power output at 8000 rpm and 565 Nm of torque, managed by a 7-speed Lamborghini Doppia Frizione (LDF) dual-clutch gearbox in a rear-wheel-drive configuration. The driving dynamics are further refined with a set of four-way adjustable racing-derived shock absorbers, providing enhanced mechanical grip and flexibility in setup according to track conditions. These adjustments allow for reduced spring stiffness while improving the dynamic control and steering precision of the vehicle.

Special Bridgestone Potenza Race tires, designed specifically for the Huracán STJ with a high-grip compound, complement the sophisticated mechanical setup. These enhancements have proven their mettle, improving the lap time on the Nardò Technical Center Handling Track by more than a second compared to the Huracán STO.

The exclusivity of the Huracán STJ extends to its aesthetics, with two bespoke configuration and livery options crafted by Lamborghini Centro Stile. The first configuration showcases Grigio Telesto bodywork accented with Nero Noctis, Rosso Mars, and Bianco Isi details, while the interior features Nero Cosmus Alcantara seats with Rosso Alala stitching. The second option offers Blu Eliadi bodywork with similar contrasting accents. Each of these ten limited-edition vehicles also features a special numbered carbon fiber plate indicating its unique position in this exclusive series, and customers have the option to add a custom plate on the passenger side for a personal touch.

As the Huracán era approaches its culmination, the STJ stands as a fitting homage to the power and prestige of Lamborghini’s V10 legacy, offering a blend of exceptional performance and bespoke luxury that is quintessentially Lamborghini.
