Fresh off the release of their armoured versions of the Land Rover Defender, luxury vehicle armourer Armormax are taking their product on the road. On the 8th of May, they will kick off a 6 week long campaign around South Africa to showcase both their product and South Africa. Armormax will be visiting all the Jaguar Land Rover Dealers in the country to educate and demonstrate the product on their very own Defender. Their Facebook fans and followers gave their Defender the nickname ‘Pumba’ a short while ago, so it seemed appropriate to name the journey in his honour and dub the trip the Pumba Safari.
Sales and Marketing Manager Michael Broom says “Over and above this we want to showcase our beautiful country. We want to say to the people who have the resources and the will to leave South Africa forever that there is still so much on offer. While we understand violent crime is massive motivator to leave, we have a solution that goes a long way to keeping you safe and allowing you to live a peaceful, unrestricted life”.
Their social media following will be getting in on the action too, following their journey and interacting with them along the way. Armormax will also be interacting with ordinary South Africans, asking them questions about their product and about our country and hopefully exposing how much hope and positivity there still is out there.
