The 3rd generation of Nissan Qashqai, the pioneer and leader of the crossover segment with 5 million sales globally and more than 156.000 sales in Turkey is now set to go on sale in Turkey with features that will redefine its segment.

Reflecting its premium feeling with its eye-catching interior and exterior design, the next generation design philosophy of Nissan Qashqai stands out with its V-Motion front grille, LED headlights having thin and sharp lines, and dual tone design offered for the first time.  The 3rd generation of Nissan Qashqai, which redefined the rules of its segment with Nappa leather seats developed with NASA technology and the advanced interior design tech, is released in Turkey as of January 17th, 2022.

All new Nissan Qashqai stands out with 1.3 liter petrol, mild-hybrid powertrain technology producing 270 Nm of torque (one of the highest in the segment) combination with low fuel consumption and CO2 emissions, 4WD system and enhanced XTRONIC CVT (Continuously Variable Transmission) with shift-by-wire technology.

The all-new Nissan Qashqai redefines the crossover segment with its innovative exterior and interior design, new technological and comfort features and improved driving dynamics. Thanks to the new Alliance CMF-C platform, the new generation Nissan Qashqai is safer, wider and 41% more rigid than its predecessor model, and raises the bar for driving pleasure.

All New Leader stands out with its advanced comfort features in its segment.

Developed with NASA technology, Nappa leather seats provide maximum comfort to all passengers. This high technology-developed seats take 25 days to produce and comes with heating and memory functions that are being introduced in Qashqai for the first time in Turkish market. Massaging function makes trips more enjoyable and comfortable with 3 massage options, adjustable speed and intensity.

New Qashqai offers advanced in-car infotainment technologies

With one of the widest screens in the C-SUV segment, the 12.3″ Full TFT digital instrument cluster used for the first time in Qashqai, takes the digital driving experience to the next level with 13 information display options to be tailored to each driver. Also, the 9″ wide infotainment touchscreen compatible with wireless Apple CarPlay catches the eye in the interior. In addition, the BOSE premium sound system with 10 speakers (8 speakers & 2 Subwoofers) has been tuned for high-end musical experience.

New Nissan Intelligent Mobility features

Used for the first time in its class in the new Qashqai, Nissan’s Intelligent Forward Emergency Warning with predictive function is able to read the road beyond the car in front up to three vehicles to detect if a vehicle suddenly brakes, and reduce the likelihood of a collision. Used for the first time in Qashqai, the Intelligent Cruise Control, Lane Keeping Assist (with Steering Assist Function), Intelligent Rear Cross Traffic Alert and Intelligent Blind Spot Intervention System maximize the safety of the passengers.

The first mild hybrid model among the C-SUVs in the Turkish market

The new Qashqai features mild hybrid technology providing more efficiency and reducing carbon emissions.  The petrol engine is powered by a 12V electrical system and a lithium-ion battery. When decelerating, energy is recovered through regeneration and stored in the Lithium-ion battery and this charged energy is then supplied to the electric motor when necessary. Fuel consumption is lowered as a result of reduced load on the petrol engine and the vehicle can stay in the stop/start position for a longer time.

Being the one and only vehicle with mild hybrid technology among the C-SUVs in the Turkish market, the new Qashqai offers one of the highest torque values in its segment with 270 Nm (CVT).

Qashqai, having 4X4, is unrivalled in its segment

The new generation Qashqai, the first in its segment in Turkish market to offer mild hybrid technology with 4WD, addresses a wide range of consumers.

4WD is combined with an XTRONIC CVT and multi-link (independent) rear suspension. The multi-link rear  suspension contributes to the handling and offers maximum comfort, especially for the rear seat passengers.

3 different driving modes are offered as standard in the new Qashqai: Eco, Standard, Sport.

The new 4WD control system has 2 more driving modes providing optimum traction by activating the lock function, especially at the first start: Off-road and Snow.

New X-Tronic CVT automatic transmission is improved to be compatible with mild hybrid technology. The friction inside the transmission is reduced by 29%, while the structure is 14% more compact. Additionally, for a more pleasant driving experience, gear shift responses are made sportier and gearshift paddles are added behind the steering wheel for the first time in Qashqai.

The all- new Qashqai will continue its leadership with its design and performance

Managing Director of Nissan Turkey and North Africa Emre Doğueri said: “Nissan Qashqai has been Turkey’s favourite for more than 10 years. Now, completely remodelled, it is set to go on sale in Turkey following its world premiere. The new generation Nissan Qashqai will raise the bar in its segment with its distinctive features. It will immediately be noticed on the roads, especially with its new generation design that maintains its dynamic and elegant style. With its mild hybrid technology, it will exceed expectations in terms of performance and efficiency and contribute to sustainability with low carbon emissions. We believe that the new generation Nissan Qashqai will redefine the standards of its segment. Equipped with many technological features that contribute to comfortable driving, enabling the ultimate driving experience, the new generation Nissan Qashqai will be worth the wait for Crossover enthusiasts.”
